Capturing Love: A Family Newborn Session

I had the joy of photographing this beautiful family, who welcomed their newest member, baby Bodie, into their beautiful Ladera Ranch home in Orange County, CA. With three children—two boys and one girl—this family is truly full of love and laughter. I first met Sara when we discovered we were both expecting our second child just a month apart!

As they prepared for baby Bodie’s arrival, the excitement was palpable. They chose not to find out his gender ahead of time, playfully referring to him as their "tie breaker." It was heartwarming to see their joy in adding another baby boy to their family.

Their oldest child loved having his photo taken which was a delight. We made sure to include some adorable Easter-themed shots of baby Bodie with his little cottontail. Given that his dad is a firefighter, we also captured some special portraits of them together in his firefighter turnouts.

We started our session indoors, where the warmth of their family dynamic shone through in every image. Afterward, we moved outside to enjoy the lovely day and create lasting memories in their beautiful home.
